Overview

Holds the settings for a particular moon or satellite.

Variables

Satellite Reference

The model that will be used for this moon.

Size

The scale of the moon.

Distance

How far should the moon be from the camera?

Use Light

Should the moon use a light?

Flare

Settings for the flare of the moon. See Unity's documentation for more information regarding this.

Light Color Multiplier

Cast Shadows

Should the moon light cast shadows.

Satellite Rotation Axis

What axis should the satellite rotate around.

Link To Day

Ties the satellite's position to the current date allowing for a more realistic orbit.

Rotation Period

How many days does it take before the satellite makes a full rotation.

Declination

Declination Period

The number of days that it takes for the declination to wobble one way completely, the opposite way completely, and return to the original position.

Orbit Offset

Offsets the orbit of the satellite.

Satellite Direction

Determines the direction of the satellite.

Satellite Pitch

Determines the pitch of the satellite.

Controls the light color for the moon. Multiplied by the moon color determined by the .
