Overview

Rendered between the Sky Dome and the Fog Dome, the Cloud Dome handles the rendering of 2D clouds in the COZY System. The Cloud Dome is a powerful feature that allows you to control and customize the clouds of your virtual environment. Clouds play a crucial role in creating realistic and immersive weather experiences, and the Cloud Dome provides a range of parameters to tailor the appearance of clouds according to your artistic vision.

The Cloud Dome is responsible for rendering and managing the cloud cover in your scene. It simulates dynamic cloud formations, contributing to the overall atmosphere and realism of your virtual world.

Distinct Styles

The cloud dome is designed with modularity in mind. There are 8 different cloud types to choose from that have different aesthetic styles, strengths and weaknesses.

• COZY Desktop Clouds

• COZY Mobile Clouds

• Soft Clouds

• Painted Skies

• Luxury Clouds

• Ghibli Desktop Clouds

• Ghibli Mobile Clouds

• Single Texture Clouds

Choose one of these cloud types to use in your project based on your needs.

Tips & Best Practices

• Start with the default COZY Desktop Clouds and develop from there.

• If you want better performance, try the texture based clouds (Single Texture Clouds and Luxury Clouds) or the COZY Mobile Clouds type.

• If you are looking for higher detail clouds, try the Soft Clouds or the Painted Skies

How to Change Cloud Types

Select the styles tab in the toolbar of the COZY inspector

Then select your cloud style
