🌄Transit Module

Overview

Manages and modifies the transit of the sun through the sky. Change your day to have longer days and shorter nights, modify your years to have longer days in the summer, and setup time blocks for time of day events and the color blocks of the Blocks Module.

Key Features

Day Curve

• Control the sun's position on an animation curve that uses the current time

• Control the day length on an animation curve that uses the current year percentage

Setup Time Blocks

• Designate sections of time that will occur at times of the day

  • Dawn

  • Morning

  • Day

  • Afternoon

  • Evening

  • Twilight

  • Night

• These time blocks will automatically link to the Events Module & the Blocks Module

Change the Day Length Based on the Season

Usage Examples

Make the Sun Rise and Set in the Same Location

In the Day Curve Settings tab in the Transit Module, set the sun height of the sunset settings to 90 degrees

Make Days Longer in the Summer

Set the Summer Offset variable in the Seasonal Variation tab to a value above 0. This will lengthen the days in the summer
