Overview

FX Profiles are used as a bridge between and profiles and the modules of the COZY system.

See the individual pages for each FX profile type for a detailed description of all the parameters.

Transition Time Modifier

Every FX profile has a variable called the Transition Time Multiplier. This variable modifies the transition between profiles based on the weight of the current weather profile that is playing this FX. Effectively, the weight is passed into the curve as the X-axis and is then read back as the corresponding Y-coordinate on the curve.

For example, this transition time modifier has no effect. At a weight (X value) of 0, the modified weight (Y value) is also 0 and the same is true at (1, 1).

This curve however is much steeper at the end and will transition slowly at first before quickly reaching the target weight of 1.
