Scene Setup

Setting up a scene for Zephyr is easy! All you have to do is follow these steps.

1

Create Wind Manager

Zephyr requires there to be one wind manager in your scene at all times for wind to properly play. You can create one using the Game Object create menu or the Add Component menu.

Once this is created, you can use the settings on the Wind Manager to setup your global wind settings.

2

Create Wind Zones (Optional)

Once you have a wind manager, you can start creating wind zones to apply localized areas of wind or impact the flow, speed, and direction of the wind at a particular location in world space.

Wind zones automatically update the CPU and GPU so have visible effects on shaders and effect listeners.

3

Add Interactions

Now your wind is fully setup and you can use it to make your world come to life! Browse the existing wind effect listener components, add your own gameplay integrations, or apply the wind to your shaders.
